I went through my Cartridges Of The World and estimated that I have fired around fifty different cartridges. Even if I fired one round of one I counted it. One time at a range a guy I knew let me shoot his 300WSM once, so it counts as far as I am concerned.
I am surprised that there are some pretty common calibers that I have never shot. I have never fired one single round of 7mm Remington Magnum, a pretty popular one at that. On the other hand, I have fired a 8mm Remington Magnum, a cartridge that is nearly obsolete. The rarest round I have ever shot must be a 351WSL.
How many different cartridges do you estimate that you have fired? Weather you have fired one round or one hundred rounds, count them all? What is the rarest or most obsolete round you have ever shot?
