Does anyone have a good way to attach an ACOG to an HK91? Does it sit too high? Please advise on a good mount for both cheek weld and eye relief. Thanks!

Steve, you probably want to look at the TA03 - this is the ACOG Adapter for H&K rifles from Trijicon.

Do you have any 1913 or weaver rail available on the receiver of the HK91?

Well, that you need to get a PSG-1 stock in order to use a scope effectively. A little spendy, but helps dramatically. Makes use of the irons a little awkward, though.

Oh ok, I was thinking you were going to say it wouldnt' fit.

I will just have to try a few things...maybe I can see how easily I could use a sight with the collapsible stock, too. That I would really like.

Take a look at the TA03 mount... it is similar to the mount Tamara listed; but since it is made specifically for the ACOG, the ACOG will sit a little lower.

Since you won't have to mount a 1913 rail and then mount an ACOG flattop mount on top of that, you may be able to get by with the regular stock.

Where might one procure a PSG-1 stock? Can one be made by hand for less?

Asking, because one of my dream rifles is a PTR-91 with a wide foregrip, PSG-1 buttstock, PSG-1-style pistol grip, and decent optic.

Something like this, but with a heavier barrel: :D

Not an HK owner, but I tend to believe that optics on a .308 oughtta have some magnification -- leave the aimpoints for the .223's out there. ;)

This was one of the reasons I sold that rifle. It is not optic friendly. There is a cheek piece available from the same folks that make the stock extension. I believe Bushmaster of all people sells it. Might want to check that out.
