As a 5.7x28 aficionado I've been toying with getting a PS90 rifle. After handling one at a LGS last week, I'm at a loss as to what magnified optic could be mounted on the rifle while still allowing for a semblance of cheek weld?

I brought in both a SigTac CP4 and ACOG, neither would work, they sit way too high for me on the rail.

I'm thinking maybe a scope with low rings may have some potential as long as eye relief is within range.

Anyone here running a magnified optic on a PS90?

I've seen people with magnified on PS90 and it looks dumb to me. I had Aimpoint T1 on my PS90. It's a 200 yard rifle, so not sure why you'd want or need magnified optics, but that's just me.

I've had a PS90 for the last half dozen years or so. I have to agree that it's a 'close-in' sort of platform that benefits most from a 1X red dot. I'm using a TRS25 but the options are almost endless.

I shot a non-magnified PS90 in a sporting rifle match at 200 yards back in 2013... and won. :)

You'd need something with a VERY low profile to use properly with a PS90.

I don't run magnification on mine, as the factory gen2 non-magnified optics are easily good enough to get 200 yard shots in the X ring... but.. If I *did*... There's an ultra low profile mount for a PS90 for the mini ACOG here;

I really don't think that it's worth dropping that much money on a 1.5 or 2x magnification, personally (mini ACOG's aren't frigging cheap..) And I know first hand that the PS90's factory reflex sight is good enough to stand up to competition.
