So having the AFT bypass Congress with its "rules" isn't enough. No, we have chumps who want some stupid office to do additional bypassing. Checks and balances are definitely a P.I.T.A. to some people, and said people are neither fit for office or voting in my opinion.

If you read Rochelle Walensky's statement carefully, you'll notice that she's careful to take additional "gun control" off the table. What she's talking about are social strategies to reduce violence, such as mentoring youth in inner cities. This administration is trying to avoid the divisive gun control issue like the plague, while at the same time giving the impression that it's "doing something."

They are not activists, they are people who have sold their rights for a little comfort.

Many of the activists also paid protesters - IOWs, they get a pay check, too

I feel like making this thread a sticky to serve as evidence as to why threads that could actually be relevant get closed.

Rather than talk about the issue raised in the story, most of y'all chose to rant and bloviate about politics and all manner of off topic stuff. Vapid catch phrases chest thumping do nothing to further in depth worthwhile discussion. Members inability to remain anywhere near on topic and their incessant need to pontificate about matters that do not fall into the scope of THR has killed yet another thread. Congratulations. Your inability to stay focused and have an adult conversation without hyperbole is the number one reason threads get killed.

So if you are upset with any of this, maybe look back through the thread and see if you contributed to the lock. If so, be better next time. For the good of the thread and for the betterment of THR.
