As to the schools, when will they teach basic firearm safety? They give lip service to child safety, and yet ignore this subject.

Does teaching your kids about guns work. In my experience, it does. I raised four kids in a house full of loaded guns, and the house never developed a hole. The kids knew that the guns were not toys, and that if they wanted to handle or use one to ask my wife or myself.

The schools take the attitude that if kids are going to be exposed to sex and are going to engage in it, they should be instructed on how to do it safely, (condom use) and learn about STD's and other dangers about sexual escapades. But when it comes to guns, where death and severe injuries can occur to those who haven't a clue on how to handle them safely, the schools want to pretend that guns don't exist. That's typical, backwards, illogical, liberal, group think.

Why do we teach sex education but not firearms safety in our schools? They don't even want the Eddie Eagle program taught in schools in some districts. Sheesh. But we better teach them about how to safely engage in sex. Abstinence instruction only works for firearms. Ya right. What a bunch of idiots.

I agree on some points, but I will say this.


Abstinence only works for neither firearms or sex.


They is far more kids having sex then their is kids with guns, so I can see why sex is a bigger issue.
