Advantages of each color ACOG reticle?

I'm considering an ACOG, but I don't know whether red, green, or yellow reticle would be best. What are the advantages/disadvantages of each? Are they all tritium (i.e. do they all last the same length of time)? Which is most easily visible in daylight? I imagine they're all pretty similarly visible in low light conditions.

Mostly depends on if you are color blind or not.

I have a friend who simply cannot see a red red-dot, but some other colors he can see.
Amber would be best for him.

Green stands out when using a red light filter to protect night vision.

Red stands out better when using any other color tac light.
