This was just a weird idea which was running through my head.
I think we can all pretty much agree that there will eventually be another major ban, whether it's HR 1022 or something else. So I got to wondering.. We're so accustomed to using the terms pre-ban and post-ban as accepted terminology. Not only for use in firearms discussion, but it's also used in a great deal of legal documentaion. So, when a new major ban works its way in , what terminology will we use ? It's bound to cause a great deal of confusion certainly.

So pray tell, then, do you really think that Chuck, and Teddy, and Hillary, and Nancy, and Barak are going to let you keep your firearms post-'08?

Yep. Gunowners are going present a strong and organized opposition to any legislature that can't be ignored. This reminds me of last fall when everyone panicked about Pelosi getting in and said that she'd immediately ban all guns. Didn't happen. Why? Because as soon as 1022 hit, we flooded Congress with calls and letters. In 2008, we'll do the same thing.
