Hey, if you want to pay full price buying factory mags for practice mags, knock yourself out.

If I only had a couple of mags and wasnt running them all the time, I probably wouldnt bother either.

At half the price and just as durable and reliable, the KCI and Magpuls make more sense to me.

I agree AK103K, As i stated earlier. Magpuls are great. I got them on sale for just over 9 per mag shipped. why spend 2-3 times that for the factory mags. Mine have been so reliable after countless rounds. I would have not problem walking around with them in a CCW pistol. I keep the 24 rounders as a back up.

I’m going to give MagPul mags a try in my polymer 80 build. The MagPul mags are definitely easier to load the last few rounds compared to the polymer 80 mag that came with my build kit

The ZEV OZ-9 is a custom Glock 17 design pistol that sells for $1,679.00 and comes with 2 Magpul PMAG 17 GL9 magazines. If you were trying to sell a pistol for that kind of $, would you include junk aftermarket mags in the box?

Well I havve to say that the Polymer80 marked magazine and the two Magpul magazines worked great in my P80 build.

I've had great success with Glock, Magpul and SGM brand magazines.

I've occasional problems with ETS, KCI, ProMag and other brands.

I only use Glock or SGM in EDC weapons.

ETS mages for a good range only magazine in my experience. I just bout three ETS magazines, two 7 rounders and one 9 rounder. The 7 round mags have to really be forced to even lock in, the 9 round mag will lock in but puts too much pressure on the slide that it is very hard to rack. I have loaded them to full capacity and will let them sit for a few days to see if that helps.

I have between 20 and 30 mags for each gun.
