Aimpoint Magnifier/Dot MOA Size Question

I am considering an Aimpoint magnifier behind my Aimpoint Comp C3 with a 2 MOA dot. Would the 3x magnifier turn my 2 MOA dot into a 6 MOA dot?

Yes.

But it also magnifies the target the same amount, so it is all relevant anyway.

It just looks BIG is all.
It still covers 2MOA on the magnified target.
