Finally got my AK clone (Vector) to jam. I wasn't trying, but it did happen.
Ammo was Brown Bear fmj, but it had been firing off my remaining pile of Wolf just prior. *not gonna be buying anymore Woof in x39 if I can help it. The Bear/Barnaul is much cleaner and quite a bit more accurate out of this particular rifle.
Failure to feed round - hung up on the forward motion of the bolt - round canted upward toward the rear sight. Put a nice dent in the side of the steel case too. Cleared and continued on.
All my rifles get cleaned following range days, but I have been slacking with the Kalash. This was it's third trip out since it's last scrub down.
Anyway, it has gone over 5k without ever a hiccup, so no biggy in my book. Was a suprised though as the venerable AK has such a huge rep for never, ever stopping. Must be the old never say never thingy.
