Stamped receiver, hideous forend. $350-500
I can't tell the barrel length, make sure it's at least 16".

Take that thing to a gun show and carry it around with a sign on it that says $425 and take $375 cash

I bought the same one 5 years ago, it was a little nicer and had the collapsable stock for $450.

Looks like a poor quality screw build of a Romanian kit.

Offer $125 - $150 if you have the tools and know-how to re-assemble it using rivets. If you get it cheap enough and if the receiver is a Nodak Spud, you can come out with a decent rifle with some work - probably (but not guaranteed).

Is there an asking price ??

Romy "G" kit build done with screws...and bolts? Somebody's home build, obviously, and not a very pleasing one.

I'd pay whatever the going rate for a complete Romy G kit is right now, maybe plus the cost of the fire-control kit that the builder used and any other 922(r) compliance parts that are in it. (Assuming the builder knew or cared to get that right.)

Maybe that's $200. Not over $300.

Sam1911, the only reason I would price it lower is in case something has been damaged during the screw build that the pictures don't show..

But, if I could examine the rifle, I might go $200. Those "G" kits are pricey now.

Pastprime,

Yes, it would be good to know what you're looking at when thinking about buying such rifle. I'd want to know what compliance parts have been installed, and would need to check a few things to see if anything had been damaged that couldn't be easily fixed.

If he wanted $300, I'd probably think long and hard about how much work is involved in stripping it all back down for the rebuild...and walk.

He offered it to me for $275 but I turned it down ... looked a little rough for me ... I don't mind the rough wood but it looked like trouble overall ...

Methinks you made a wise choice unless you are an AK builder...:)

Not to say his price is too far out of line for everything in the picture but the unknows would be a turnoff for me..

GP-75 kit done up w/ what appears to be 10-32 button head screws..The hex nuts look like ----, but it is an overall nice kit you can build off of. Maybe end up going with slightly larger metric rivets.....Just pass on it and get something else IMO. You don't know if the barrel was removed or if it was drilled into too deep when it was tapped..Too many unknowns about it and it looks to me to be on a homemade receiver.

That's a receiver bent from a flat (poorly) and then done as a screw build (badly). I'm not a fan of screw builds, but this one looks like a textbook example of what not to do. Can't see if the rest of the parts are matching. Trunnion holes may be oversized depending on how they have been tapped for the screws. If I were to take it at all, I'd offer $175 as a parts kit - then part it out and buy an unmolested kit.

Run away as fast as you can. Unless you plan on buying it as a parts kit and intend to have a proper AKM built from those parts I'd stay away.

It's worth less than a unassembled parts kit. The trunnions are more than likely hogged out and useless plus there is no telling what other damage was done to the parts.

It's a prime example of bad labor decreasing the value of the parts used to make the finished product.
