I did some horses treading with Joe over at Aklys Defense the other day. I repaired the butt stock on a Ruger Red Label for him and agreed to trade the cost of the work for one of their Felcata AR lowers.
Here’s a close look at the lower.
It’s forged 7075 aluminum and Type III hard coat anodized black for durability.
-Bolt catch is attached via a set-screw which is included.
Lower features a nylon tipped upper tensioning screw.
Rear take down pin detent and spring are retained via a set-screw which is included
Nice fire control markings.
And multi cal marked.
Now comes the hard part. I need to figure out what I will build with it.
I’m thinking maybe a pistol, but have not ruled out a rifle.
I would love to do a theme build but not sure what. But whatever it ends up, I want it to be cool.
