This, and all the firearms freedoms acts, are not really about guns at all, and very much about 10th amendment and redefining the use of the commerce clause. These are meant as a way to pick a fight with the federal government and get people talking about what the commerce clause really means. They just picked guns as it's a hot topic that the feds try to regulate.
