I rarely shoot it anymore, but still my favorite
Accurate, smooth and inexpensive to feed. I really need to take it out more
My sentiments exactly and I treat mine the same way. Haven't shot a 357 mag out of it in 20 years, handload a lead SWC with enough Universal for about 800 fps. :D

Tough one. I have three. My old Rossi 971, my colt delta elite, and an old Ruger Blackhawk in 41 mag. All three are great for various reasons.

All time favorite handgun

Might be it’s your most accurate, most enjoyable to shoot, carry, or just how it feels or looks.

Don't have one. What I've had, shot, carried has varied a lot over the years.

Over time I've moved more into the functional tool mode.

Probably sacrilege, especially since I have much nicer options but there’s one hand gun that I always go back to, it just fits me and I shoot it as well as any of the much higher dollar guns I own and maybe occasionally enjoy shooting more.

There is some joy in a simple purpose built machine that just does what it does.

I have owned a few hundred handguns over the years and have found many that I like. All time favorite??? I hope to live a few more years and enjoy a few more guns and find new favorites, still.

Those Gen5s are a lot nicer looking than the most of the other gens. I dont think the Glock 42 is bad either for more modern stuff.

I think that would be my High Standard Victor.

When you held it, you just knew you had something special in your hand. When you shot it, it fulfilled that promise.

It's long gone, its place now taken by a Browning Buckmark. Nice gun, but it's no Victor.

I've said it before,,,
And I'll say it again.

That little Beretta of bannockburn's,,,
Just might be the prettiest handgun I have ever seen.

Kinda like the Sofia Loren of pistols.

.

It's the 1858 Remington flavor of the trigger guard.

For me it’s simple and I don’t currently own one. Taurus 689 6”. It was my first revolver, bought specifically for deer hunting purposes when I was 16. By 16 I was already becoming bored with rifles for deer hunting as they simply give too much range. Gotta get close to make it fun. I loved the gun, and it shot very well. It shot better when loaded hot and I never found anything loaded so hot that accuracy diminished. I loaded well beyond book loads and that gun just ate them like candy until the gun started coming apart at which point I sold it to a gunsmith friend who rebuilt it and kept going. I bought a gp100 and was very disappointed in it due to a trash barrel. Returned it to the shop and explained the issue, showed them serious barrel chatter. Gun was replaced and second gun was similar with barrel chatter. I have had many 357 guns since then and none have come close to that particular 689.
