Alliant Black MZ in Pietta 1860 Army?

Looking into substitutes for regular BP in my Pietta 1860 Army. BP just isn't anywhere close and I've been seeing that Black MZ on the shelf of the LGS. Has anybody tried it in their cap and ball revolver? I see lots of posts for other BP substitutes but nothing for Black MZ.
