With your money, no. With my money, yes. I'm always happy to help others spend their money.Am I paying to much?
So I saw an ad on a local forum in my area guy is asking $140 for 1k Fed 210 LRP and $60 a pound for H4350 or Varget (he has both) . I just know it looks better then some online auction sites.
Yep, I'm diabetic and need insulin . Of course that comes first , but if i'm going to be spending on insulin to survive i';m sure as hell going to have fun in life too.If diabetic and need insulin, no price is too high.
Crazy primer and powder prices, I'll pass. I have a fishing pole to occupy my time.
For now....Buying is still free will in our republic
So when all is said and done you ended up paying about $50 per thousand which is much better. If you were close to Cleveland, Ohio I would have helped you out.View attachment 987293 So after a little more searching I got a hold of 1.5K S&B and 500 Remington 9 1/2 for $100 from a older guy I ran into at my LGS. Thanks to all for the input!
Thanks! A little far from Cleveland, but I appreciate the offer! So when all is said and done you ended up paying about $50 per thousand which is much better. If you were close to Cleveland, Ohio I would have helped you out.

wow I knew spp/srps were getting stupid but didn't think it had hit the larger stuff yet.
I literally just bought 2000 210s for 60bucks a brick, and another 1K of 215s for 65, all over the counter.....yay hawaii?
Not bad! Local trades/deals, with other reloaders, is the way to go right now. Or, you better pucker up!View attachment 987293 So after a little more searching I got a hold of 1.5K S&B and 500 Remington 9 1/2 for $100 from a older guy I ran into at my LGS. Thanks to all for the input!
I’m about to buy fences lumber this weekend, 12 months ago it was $2 a piece of roughy cut cedar. 4”x8’Today I bought a bunch of lumber at prices I would've considered stupid 14 months ago, but I really want to finish my reloading shed/man cave.
How much do you want the primers?
Toks had large rifle stuff on the shelf last weekend, pistol and small rifles been clean out for a while. Haras actually had some stuff when i was in there week before, but havent been up there recently.Brah I went J-hara, Young guns, security equipment and nobody had anything. J-Hara had 1lbs CFE pistol left but I think someone walked out with it when my brother was checking out some dive stuff.
A few years ago we put in a 24' wide by 36' deep garage. That building would have cost twice what we spent today. Hell a $3 2X4 is now a $6 2X4. Neighbor was wants to build similar but is now reconsidering. Everything, just about every consumable commodity has doubled in price. Gasoline is on a steady increase as is diesel and remember America's needs move by truck.Today I bought a bunch of lumber at prices I would've considered stupid 14 months ago, but I really want to finish my reloading shed/man cave.

This makes sense. As one new to reloading (started last Dec) and not having been spoiled by pre-pandemic prices I've got a different perspective than some long time reloaders. If I can reload my 38/357s cheaper than what I can buy it for (if I can find it) then it's worth the inflated prices of components. I've found bricks of SPP for $40 and bricks for $150 but even at 15 cents a per primer it's worth it to me at least until I've got a good supply to get me through. I consider it a hobby and really enjoy reloading and the satisfaction of shooting them. At 70, I don't want to curtail my shooting until when(or if) things turn around in the future.
