Big Bend of FL, originally from Miami.
I'm getting two APF-R1s. These are Alfa Proj made guns, specifically the Model 3530 (Stainless 3" Fixed Sight) and Model 3561 (Blued 6" Adjustable Sight). American Precision Firearms out of Miami, FL is importing them into the country (along with some other very nice things from Europe). Should have them in my grubby paws soon. When they come in, I'll post pictures of 'em and a review soon.

Here's an example of the 3" model from APF's website.

I have a AL22 revolver in 22lr. It looks just like your APF-R!s. Sold by RIA but made in the Czech Republic also.
Fit and finish is excellent, shoots great. I've got approx 3500 rds through it. Some people will complain about the trigger, but my trigger has smoothed up some
to the point of being fine for me.

Same manufacturer.

RIA has the contract to import the .22s, the 9mm, and 2" .357 Mag.

APF has the contract for the 3", 4", and 6" blued and stainless. 357 Mags. Also, the finishes are different. The APF guns are a nicer polish, etc....

As for the triggers, they're adjustable.

Those look nice,
With the exception of the crane, at that price point I'd like to see them take the time to mill a crane that blends with the frame like everyone else.
Hope the OP does a follow up range report.

I'm not saying AP is copying the ole Rohm GMBH plans or anything (they are using a side plate so it's clearly not a copy) but the crane is definitely a familiar shape...

APF is importing them from Alfa Proj of the Czech Republic. The gun is quality from my experience handling it at the Palm Beach NSSF show. Word is the barrels are made by Lothar Walther of Germany.

Mighty fine looking revolver. Looking forward to the range report.

Did some researching price wise. Prices are about what you're paying across the pond once you remove import costs to the US (shipping, customs fees, etc).

1.023,00 Euros comes out to 1,110.67 in US Dollars.

1.055,00 Euros comes out to about 1,145.00 in US Dollars.

Yeah, but they haven't moved the factory. Have they brought in immigrant workers?
These guns are made in Europe. APF is an importer. They import guns from Europe, Alfa Proj is in the Czech Republic. Just like Beretta is in Italy. APF brings in a Beretta that Beretta USA doesn't even bring in.

As for Colt and CZ. CZ is basically laying off some of their staff in Kansas City, MO and having Colt take over US operations for them in West Hartford, CT.

Looks like a 2001 Honda Civil from the Fast & Furious

For that kind of $. That crane looks weak.

Seriously, that's a magnum revolver.

For that kind of money I would expect something better.
Charter arms vibes.... definitely
