Did anyone else see it? They made it clear that guns are flowing like water from legal US dealers into Mexico. They showed $600 AK-47's at the shops, then showed video of FA AK's being fired. They showed a Barrett M82 .50 cal, then the host shot a M2 at an indoor range into a car door at a target to show how lethal a .50 cal was on car doors :banghead:

Then the host said that he's a gun owner and a hunter, and the he believes in the 2A, but that we need to do something. :barf:

How about ending the demand for drugs and guns by stopping the war on drugs?

The host of this program is known for his editorializing on subjects that have nothing to do with the program and that he knows nothing about. I quit watching AMW years ago.

America's Most Wanted - Least Accurate!!!!

Just caught the bit from them on the gun runners into Mexico. Every trick in the LIEberal playbook, ATFE agent with shrouded face blaming US gun shops, practically shouting ALL of Mexico's drug runner guns are coming in from Arizona and Texas, (including showing a deputy shooting a full auto AK, after talking about $600 AKs purchased in the US - woonder where they're finding FULL AUTO AKs for $600? The ATFE agent claims a semi auto AK smuggled into Mexico is worth $1200 to the cartel, when they can get FULL auto ones elswhere? Showed the reporter with the FN FiveseveN pistol shooting through a vest on a target stand, NAMED it as The Cop Killer - that ammo isn't available to civilians in the US, last time I checked! And they ended with two guys caught in texas as straw buyers, that were here to buy GRENADES? From where, Bucks Grenade Shop?
I used to like and admire Mr Walsh for his work with children, but this is horsehockey.

Well, if its real, is it any wonder why they got caught?

I'm also surprised they didn't have a .50 on there. Saw a CSI where they used a .50 to shoot through a bank vault a few days ago. I couldn't help but think of a cutting torch being a little less loud, expensive, and ridiculous.

To me the problem isn't with the 2nd am like a think a lot of the libs would like to make us all believe since they've been making headlines with this issue. AMW even stated that you can just drive right into Mexico without any inspection whatsoever. I'm not sure if it's true, but some army buddies of mine said you don't even have to stop. I think inspecting the vehicles intering Mexico would severely put a kink in the dealers plans. And respectfully, I would have to disagree that ending the drug war would not end the demand for drugs. After the Prohibition alcohol use has only sky-rocketed and I think we can agree that more deaths have been caused by drunk driving than by the gang violence seen during the Prohibition. I'm not suggesting another Prohibition, don't worry. I'm only making a parallel. I can see where some people would think legalization would cause gang violence to decrease, but you have to remember that the places these products are grown still belong to these drug dealers and these corrupt governments(Columbia, Venezuela) so they would still be profiting.

i understand it was used during the Prohibition in speakeasies. That's how the mob made a lot of money. But then you would have to go to special places (speakeasies) to get the alcohol. Now or since the Prohibition ended, you can go to any gas station, drug store, and bar, and openly purchase it without having to worry about being a criminal as long as you're of age, (or if your fake ID is convincing enough.)

can anyone confirm the numbers on AMW of 8,000 guns going from america to mexico? It just seems like it would take more effort to get them from the US than from a third world craphole that has an abundance of them (Russia,Africa, they don't conduct background check, lol). They said on AMW that "dirty" gun dealers were helping the gun runners get them. What do you guys think?

"There's NO Business like SHOW business there's NO business I know..."

Ohhhhhhh, yeeeeeeesh...

Yeah, Mr. Walsh, while having at one time, had some things to redeem him...

Where's "60 Minutes" on the Mexican Drug-Gun thing?

I have not watched any TV in fifteen years now, other than that one morning, to see the Twin Tower mischief underway...

I got the drift...

Agree 100% Don't forget that little entity called south America-where the ILLEGAL drugs come from in the first place. I find it hard to believe a organization capable of smuggling tons of cocaine would give up guns because of a US law.

...but that we need to do something.

Uhm... I'm pretty sure that we need to do absolutely NOTHING.

You know... EXACTLY what Mexico wants done about illegal immigration.

No doubt, full auto guns are not going across the border, but the few AKs that may be going that route are simply getting converted to full auto.

Propoganda from the left is all it is. Scare tactics are the best way to get sheeple to go the way they would like them to.

I wonder who ends up with some of those beautiful guns I saw last night.

I saw beautiful AK's and 1911's. I'll bet some of those Mexican Police sell guns like those

He took a horrible situation and did something good, at first.

But his personal opinion and ego has gotten in the way of what once seemed a good thing. Typical Hollywood ending.
Sorta the same reason I destroyed my copy of Fast Times at Ridgemont High after Sean Penn started getting all high and mighty.

I met John a few years ago at a fundraiser.

He had the attitude of being able to piss into a 30 knot wind and not get wet.

So much propaganda, so little time to digest it... or even fight it.

Sad what has become of John Walsh and others,
as the poster above points out.

Tell them what you think of their propaganda.

Your recent piece on Mexico neglected to mention that the most dangerous weapons being used in Mexico DO NOT come from the United States.

Modern fully automatic weapons, rocket propelled grenades, hand grenades, and other military weapons can not even be purchased in the USA!

Furthermore, of the total guns seized in Mexico, only between 15-20% have been traced back to the US.

Please get your facts straight before you go throwing America under the bus. And until you make such an effort, I will not be watching your show or supporting your advertisers.

Did any catch the part about Mexico having the some of the toughest gun laws in the world??? Also in the 60 minutes th show aired not a peep about sealing off the border?????? Writing to the show also.

Letter sent. I may not be as smart as you folks here. I do know that what was shown was a out right lie. I am tired of celebs telling the world we are terrible. I asked armoredman to come and watch the story with me and he explained what they were saying. Now that I understand I send a letter too.
