O.K. exactly 2 years ago today I mounted my fourth Ammo Plant to my bench. I bought the press and case feeder and a bunch of spare parts for $250.00. The guy that sold it to me said that he had to prime by hand for the last 2 years and now the dies won't line up. I bought a rifle bullet feeder and the mount. So on May, 23, 2015 I mounted my fourth Ammo Plant. (♫Happy Birth Day♫ to me).
Now back then every form had some one bitching about the primer system. So I timed all four presses to make sure they were all perfect. And I decided to check how many times I had a problem I had with the primer.
Well after 1 year and not one single problem I decided to up the anti. I then on May 23, 2016 I then decided to make at least 25 rounds on each press.
So after 2 year these are the problems I am having. Primers still 100% Bullet feeder for rifle 100% case feeder for rifle 100% Bullet feeder for pistol about 1 in 500 one will go in upside down. Case feeder about 1 in 50-75 one will go in up side down. And about every 500 I will get a rats nest at the case drop.
Now I put every thing though my timer and found my #2 press that the pawls for the dies needed adjusted to advance the shell plate .002. Every thing else was still perfect after 2 years.
