Ammo Priced Through The Roof!

Just ordered 2K rounds of Wolf 7.62x39 for the Saiga I got for my birthday yesterday. Including shipping, it was $0.18/rd, only four cents more than my 9mm ammo. Still, it's ironic to spend more on ammo than you did on the gun.

Ammo companies should give guns away, the way razor-blade companies (practically) give away razors.

Couldn't help but notice at Wal-Mart today that ammo went up one dollar again.

5/25/07 -- 2 Blazer Brass .45 ACP = $9.97/box.
6/13/07 -- 2 Blazer Brass .45 ACP = $10.97/box.
6/29/07 -- 2 Blazer Brass .45 ACP = $11.97/box.

This bothers me.
