If you guys know about it, great. Some shooters may not.

The guy is trying to help.

Is it going to hurt the gun? Not any decent one. But many people may be unaware that it is a little hotter than what they normally shoot.

If you buy a box of Winchester 9mm NATO (usually comes in white boxes), there is text on the box that clearly states that it is loaded to higher pressures than typical commercial 9mm Luger, and should only be used in modern, well-maintained firearms (or some language to that effect).

The OP is making a mountain of a molehill. There is nothing to "beware" of. The thread title makes it sound as if there is some problem with Winchester 9mm NATO ammo, when in fact, it is exactly what it is supposed to be - 124 grain 9x19mm FMJ at a NATO-spec loading.

Been shootin' it for years.

It's gone in absolutely everything I have that's 9mm.

Especially fine in an AR carbine.

Like Inebriated said, I was just posting this for general information.
I don't shoot or use 9mm but wanted to put it out there if it was needed.

Then why the all the capital letters, bold font, exclamation points, and alarmist text? A simple Google search (or just reading the box the ammo came in) would have saved you the trouble.

That's apparent. ;) No worries, though. Sorry for the tone - probably been spending too much time on the M4carbine forum.

FYI, the vast majority of popular 9x19mm pistols out there (especially those intended for military service) were designed from the start to eat a steady diet of 9mm NATO, including, but not limited to, Glocks, Berettas, SIGs, CZs, Walthers, S&Ws, modern High Powers, HKs, XDs, etc, etc. In addition, any modern commercial design that can handle +P loads (pretty much all of them) can easily handle 9mm NATO.
