So, any one know where to buy case lots of .30-.30? Also, although I do not currently reload, I intend to in the near future. I have looked in Cheaper Than Dirt, and Midway catalogs but have not seen bullets in this caliber, although I have seen .30 caliber. Are all .30 caliber bullets(.308,.30-06) all the same diameter? Thanks.

There are specific bullets designed for the 30-30. The 308, 30-06, 300 mag, 300WSM, etc can use the same projectiles. The 30-30 and the rest of the thirties appear to have the same diameter of .308 but you do not want a pointed bullet in a 30-30 (Leverevolution is an exception). Traditional 30-30 projectiles have a flat point so as not to set off the primer of the round in front of it. Most projectiles designed for 30-30 will be labeled as such.

As far as bulk ammo... I have no idea where to find bulk 30-30. I would look at Cabelas, BassPro, Ammoman, Ammotogo....just go to Google and run a search for "bulk 30-30 ammo" It should get you started. Hope all this helps you out.

Anyone hear anything about the 308/7.62 peruvian surplus? I'm trying to find some info on these. Ammoman is having a sale on some. I've tried others but not these. Thanks for your help guys.

Thanks y'all. I know that LeverRevolution is almost $19.00 a 20 round box from CheaperThanDirt, which makes it almost $1000.00 for 1000 rounds. I will look on Google.

Just buy a hundred rounds or so and use the surplus cash to set up your reloading bench.
You can start saving now by just loading the hundred with your choice of bullet as needed. For the cost of a case of 30-30 you can have a pretty nice set up to load what you shoot now and in the future. Just a thought.

I suggest buying and reading a copy of the current Speer or Hornady Reloading manual. It will help you understand what you need to get started reloading. You will have trouble finding 30-30 for less than $0.50/rnd
