Forgive me if this doesn't belong up here, but I was noticing something the other day.
It seems to me that the more ammo I have on hand, the more likely I am to fire any given firearm. Case point: I have 15 rounds for my .260 Remington and a scratched sizing die I need to replace. I haven't fired that rifle in a couple of months, for fear of using up all of my remaining stock of cartridges.
Now I also have a .44 Magnum levergun and revolver. These get fired about 50 rounds each ever other week, sometimes every week, weather dependent. I usually have 400-600 rounds loaded and on hand for these. So it isn't unusual for me to burn 100+ rounds of .44 in an hour and change at the range.
This kind of reminds me of the restaraunt where you get a huge, impossible to eat plate, but you fill yourself anyway because it's in front of you.
Does anybody else seem to have this problem, or is it just me?
