I did a low level survey after the news hit the media outlets by looking over the Midway USA site. 223s remain available but not the low cost generics we were buying a few months ago. You can get all the upper end varmint/targe/hunting 223 you want right now. All large pistol primers are gone but there seem to be a lot of small pistol remaining in stock. There is even a variety of small rifle primers left. I wonder if the current hoarders are predominately big bore handgun shooters????????

There is a wide selection of 45 acp but the only bargain priced remaining available is steel cased Wolff ball. Well stocked on 9mm both premium and bargain priced generic. Also well stocked on .44 magnum and various rimfire loads.

Just got back from Wal Mart...bought 75 boxes of .223 Remmington.....first time they've had it in awhile, so I bought most of what they had....left 25 boxes for others to enjoy.

What was weird to me was a box of 20 was $6.47 and the value pack of 40 was $17.67...go figure?

sounds like somebody got mixed up about this month's prices vs next month's.
