AMSEC SF or BF

Guys,
I think I've read every safe thread on the forum and would like your opinions/suggestions on a couple of things.
I have a gun collection that includes rifles, shotguns, and handguns that were all purchased by me over the past 20 years. There are no heirlooms or collectables and all are insured. How much should I spend on a gun safe/RSC?

I live in a small town and have an alarm system for burglary and fire. I'm considering an AMSEC SF6036 or BF6636 but the difference in price is $1,000. Is that reasonable and would you spend the money for the BF. The safe will be bolted down and secluded.

I've read great info. on the forum and value your input.

Since I already owned an older and smaller Amsec Teton gun safe after several years of ownership my gun collection grew and since I truely needed more safe and the fact that my neighborhood has steadily been going south for some time now I opted for the BF 66X36 and could not be happier.
A much more secure safe than the 12 gauge bodied SF.
For me at least I was happy to spend more for the BF over any 12 gauge safe out there.
If theft is a low probability the SF might suffice for you.
Fwiw right now here in Houston we have a five man theft ring that is targeting homes in the million dollar price range that specifically have safes in them.
How these guys know what homes have these safes in them will be interesting reading later.
Day before yesterday they hit a home that had a 400 pound safe in it.
But they are using a hand dolly to walk them out.
Obviously these people are not opting to bolt their safes down.
Good thing you are planning on bolting yours down.

Here in Mayberry, we have people who are stealing items from unlocked cars parked in driveways. They don't break anything but open the door and take whatever is there like ipods, laptops, etc. One of my friends actually had a wallet and pistol stolen that were in his console. But, all of these vehicles were parked in the driveway and unlocked. We don't really have any home break-ins, but that may just be a matter of time. Most of the home break-ins are outside of town in "remote" houses.
It looks like the BF weighs about 1200 lbs. vs the just over 700 lbs. for the SF. I suppose that safe or moving companies can handle something that heavy? Thanks for your input.

The SF is an import than is rebadged with the AMSEC name. If wanting a lighter safe than the BF, I would probably consider a "no name" import and save some money.

A true safe company won't have any problems moving a gun safe. I move 20 ton vault doors, so a 1,000 pound gun safe is actually a nice break during the day.
