Another 1911

Had a gun show this weekend and as usual everything was overpriced. Did look at some of the models I was interested in though, mainly full-size 1911s. Really like the Taurus PT 1911 and I also liked the "old school" of the basic Springfield GI model. As I saw nothing reasonable I went home with cash in pocket.

Was out running errands this morning and I stopped by my regular store just to browse and look for any deals. They had a PT 1911 there and I fondled it again but my experience with Taurus is iffy at best. I was looking at the bottom shelves and there tucked in the corner was a Springfield GI, with a used price tag of $380. I checked it over and I really doubt it was fired at all, maybe a box at most. Came with 2 mags, and box and papers. Needless to say it went home with me today...

That's a sweet deal on a nice gun. If I saw one in a shop for that price in a LNIB condition, I'd be likely to bring it home too.
