Another AZ FFL dealer out of business

Not referring to any particular case, but those wondering why small gun shops go out of business might look in the mirror.

- If you got a C&R license so you could buy stuff at a low price
- If you buy accessories and ammo "on the net"
- If you buy guns at Walmart or other discount stores
- If you use a local dealer only to take shipping on your latest "net" buy and "demand" he accommodate you

then YOU are responsible for local gun shops closing. And when the big stores yield to anti pressure and stop sales of guns and ammo, and you look around for a local store, guess what, there won't be any.

Why doesn't he relocate?

He tried. But as he has found out most landlords think their properties are worth their weight in gold.

Exactly Jim. I have used him to bring in 2 guns that he couldn't get, but I have purchased 6 or 7 guns from him. I would rather pay a little more for the personal service and be able to see and touch a gun before I buy it.

I wonder what shop that is.

If someone would be so kind as to inform us, maybe we could help him out.

What is the name of the Shop?

Or is this just an internet myth?

Go figure.

The Shootist Gun Shoppe
11200 W. Michigan Ave

It's a block south of Grand Behind the Best Western Motel.

BTW: Just heard (unconfirmed) that the Ace Hardware in Y-town is planning closing or moving as well. Off Topic I know....but it's the only major retail store in the "city"!
