Don't forget to use BLUE ink when signing those copies. I actually had two dealers refuse my license signed in black ink. They just wanted to make sure it was a real signed copy. This isn't a requirement of the law, just a safeguard for all.

I put mine on the scanner, did a medium res scan and printed it out landscape two to a page on my color inkjet. Looks just like the original except it's blank on the back. Perfectly legible too which can be a problem with some copiers. I did the scan after I had to mail a copy to a couple of places cause the one I sent wasn't readable.

Stay safe.

Copy, copy, copy

Make about 50 copies and as previously noted do not sign it!!! Then repeat every couple of months as you use them up buying stuff and going to the poor house.

Then put the original in with your insurance or other papers. Put a few copies in your car, your briefcase and in your traveling suitcase.

I never go to a gunshow without at least four or five copies in my pocket, ready to sign.

Hey, you never know when you'll stop in a small town and find that perfect 1911 or Garand. You just gotta be ready to spend money on short notice.

Last week I got an Enfield #4 Mk II and a Jungle Carbine at the same gun show.

Woo Hoo!
