Not the way it should have gone...

If the homeowner truly wanted the burglar in the grave he would not have done what it did.

It would have gone more like this:

Noise of breaking glass, BANG! BANG! BANG!...BANG! BANG!...BANG! Sounds of reload...homeowner yells "stop or I'll shoot" then whispers..."again" :D

I find interrogating a dead burglar gets the best results...

Lawful defense against a criminal, good guy is not arrested for having a gun...in California?

Major win! :)

I was thinking a SureFire light activateing then... Bang, Bang, Bang, after 30 rounds reload and assess. Then call 911, "my life was in danger, iminent danger, I was attacked in my home"... please send the Police, CLICK (end of conversation) and then call a lawyer.

Some times it's better to not have killed the BF and have a Bio Hazzard Clean up on your hands. Shooting the Car, can be interperated, if he's out in the sticks, "did he really put anyone else in danger"... now if he's in an apartment complex then yes, it wasn't a bright idea.

The CA LEO's, would like to see every home invasion end with a dead BG, it makes thier job easier. Police Report: BG broke in, home owner gave warning, BG attempted to attack home owner, home owner killed bad guy with 3 shots fired, BG finger prints found on object used to break in, justifiable homicide, case closed! Now they had to track down the suspect, arrest him, build a case, send the case to the DA, hope he gets procecuted, hope there's enough evidence.

Since this thread isn't in Strategies and Tacticts, I gotta admit the visual I got from this story just cracked me up. As far as pumping a couple rounds into the cretin's car - perfect!:D

Is it just me, or does anyone else think that after that many break-ins, it's time to move away from there?
