Police are searching for a man who reportedly walked away after his gun fired shots at a Detroit home.

So this guy falls off his BIKE, his gun fires multiple shots, he reloads then WALKS away. Hmmmm, something tells me we don't have quite an accurate account of this event.

Gun Fires After Man Falls From Bike

Bullets Reportedly Hit Detroit Home

A man riding a bicycle reportedly fell, causing his gun to go off and fire shots at a Detroit home Tuesday morning. The bullets hit the side of the house on McGraw Street and a window, Local 4 learned. The homeowner was inside the house -- about 5 feet from the window -- when the gun fired, the station learned. The woman inside the home was not injured. Witnesses said the man on the bicycle reloaded his weapon and walked away. Police are searching for him.

I could see that - some banger takes a file to the sear, disconnector, etc., so that when he yanks his hipoint's trigger, it dumps the magazine - but he screws it up enough so that it's just patently unsafe. He drops it, the sear slips, multiple bangy-bangs.

Update

It appears this guy was riding a bike with his finger on the trigger of shotgun. He is apparently no better at Bike safety than he is with gun safety since his front wheel feel off.

Police Search For Shotgun Wielding Bike Rider
Stray Shot Enters Pregnant Woman's Home

Police are searching for a man who nearly shot a pregnant woman by accident while riding his bike with a loaded shotgun, Local 4 reported.
Witnesses told police that a man riding his bike on McGraw Street on Detroit's southwest side fell when he lost his front wheel. The bike rider was reportedly carrying a double barrel shotgun that went off as he tumbled, firing a shot through the window of Lynise Tyler's home, according to police.
"I was in the kitchen and was just about to enter my dining room when I heard a big loud sound and it scared me. I didn't know what it was," said Tyler.

Tyler -- who is expecting triplets in February -- said a front window was broken and the buckshot put holes through a wall in her home, Local 4 reported.
Witnesses say following the fall and shot, the man picked the gun up, reloaded it, and walked away into a field, according to police.
Police surrounded a home about one block away, but didn't find the man, according to the station's reports.
"It's awful. I could have got hurt. Anyone could have got hurt," said Tyler.
No injuries were reported in the shooting.
Police continue to search for the man, who is believed to still have the shotgun in his possession.
