Jees, how i hate this addiction.
Was looking for something i dont need,
and came across THIS!

I really like the lines.
But do i need another knife?

i really like the design, very sleek and classy.

that being said, for a $100 knife, i would have liked to see a better steel than AUS8.


also, 'made in asia'.....does anyone know where? Asia covers a lot of real estate...Russia? China? Taiwan? Japan? Korea?.....

Prices and steel types are exactly why I don't own a Böker knife. I've always found American products that fit my needs better at a more affordable price.

I agree that this is a great-looking knife, though.

As far as I know, Böker Plus knives are made in Taiwan and China. According to a Böker representative, most models are produced in Taiwan, and production in China has only started recently, after they made sure that the Chinese manufacturer could keep up with Böker's quality standards.
Still not the same as "Made in Germany" or "Made in USA", if you ask me.

Lucas Burnley did the design. I had one of his original fixed-blade Kwaikens. Sweet little knives!

If this was S30V or better I'd bite in a heartbeat. This is definitely on my list, but like M-Cameron, $100 is a little rich for my blood if it's only AUS-8. I think I'd pay $180 if it was ZDP or one of those newer CTS steels.

Well ... got a few Moras, got an Opinel or two...
... plus some weird spears, a khyber sword and a few hatchets.

thinking of all the items stored in this drwaer or another
i find myself thinking of my CS pocket bushman.

It's what i keep in my Van as a go-to outdoor EDC.
( yeah, there's a GlockM78 and a Fiskars hatchet nearby..... sharpened to death)

But i'd love to peel an orange at a campfire with this Kwaiken
