I asked awhile back about which stock I should use for my Mauser action rifle. I mentioned the Hogue Overmolded stock in my thread. I also meant to ask if that was a good stock option or is there something out there that is better. By better I mean something that would help with accuracy and handling. I do like how the Hogue stocks feel, they would be nice when the temp drops or the rains come in. The grippy feel of them is appealing. So the point is if not the Hogue then what stock would be recommended. Thanks for all your help.

I like Hogue overmolded stocks.
If you are building the rifle for yourself and you like the Hogue stock then by all means use it.
Somebody elses opinion doesn't matter when you are the actual shooter.

Agreed. I am only looking for any information about other stocks out there and what if any benefit they may have over a Hogue. I have only had experience with the Hogue and limited at that.
