Any suggestions? I bought this rifle used so I know nothing about it's history. It appears to be in very good condition and shoots very well. My question has to do with the trigger adjustment, which feels like around 4 lbs. This is a single set trigger and keep in mind that I know diddly-squat about working on triggers. But, right in front of the trigger is an adjustment screw and the on-line manual says the trigger can be lightened by simply turning this screw counter-clockwise. So, I gave it a few turns, but it seems not to make any difference. I may have to have a gunsmith look at it, unless there is something I can do myself that is easy and obvious.
Second question: If it cannot be adjusted to my satisfaction, what replacement trigger would you suggest? Who makes a replacement trigger for this model? Do you have personal experience with this model?
