Picked up one of these a few months ago in .40 S&W with the LEM trigger and then traded it in on a P2000 in SA DA with decocker, Nothing wrong with the LEM just prefer the other.

My question is I dont read much mention of the P2000 on this site and was wondering why? and who has thoughts on this model?? So far I love the gun and its been 100% reliable and accurate and will digest anything. Thanks! drf

I have never actually fired one. I have owned numerous USPs though. I feel that the P2000 is an excellent refinement of the USP. The grip is much better, and it is generally thoughtfully designed. I think the real problem is the cost. I doubt anyone will have any problems with them H&K seems to be immune to growing pains (and you pay it).

The P2000 doesn't have a large following.
And H&K very rarely puts out a lemon, so there isn't anything to complain about.
On the internet there are two main categories of posts, manufacturer worship aka: fanboyz posts, and complaint posts.
The P2000 doesn't have many Fanboyz and they don't have any problems.
Hence very rarely is a P2000 mentioned.
