I looked around for info on the T/C Encore and found some. My question is simple. Overall, are you happy with the quality accuracy and function of your Encore? I am seriously considering one in the oh so sweet .204 Ruger. Thanks for any help you can give! :D

one here.

i have a 15" .243 pistol i use for hunting and a 12ga barrel and butstock i slap on for trap and birds. the only thing that could make me happier is if the barrels were free!

Mine is 15" 30.06. Real fun to shoot and as accurate as the shooter. Kicks a bit and the muzzle flash/blast is a hoot. Nice trigger and overall quality.

Ahhhh - the T/C. Wonderful guns. Love mine.

I have two barrels in the pics - .223 (14") and .44 mag (12") - more recently picked up a used .410/45LC to play with tho by all accounts with the bullet jump this won't be too exciting.

I find the .223, even with WWB ammo can at 100 yds all but outshoot my Ruger 77 MkII!!! That barrel lives on the gun most of the time. I have Pachy grips and forend which I find make it feel even better.

I love my Encore. The first barrel was a 15 inch 308 that is very accurate, but is a real handful to shoot.

I have a 27 1/2 inch 300 Win Mag barrel that is exceptionally accurate and is a lot of fun to shoot.

I have only a Contender but it is still great. The Encore can only be better. A website you should look at is www.bellmtcs.com
Mike Bellm has been making contenders and encores better as a business. Most people don't have any problem with them but when they do, this is the guy who can help.

26" .223 SS HB Rifle.

Shoots very well--better than 1/2 MOA with ammo it likes.

Thanks for all the input guys. It is nice to be able to get so many responses, and is seems most everyone is happy with their T/C. I think I want to start with a varmint caliber and then get something bigger like a .300 Win. I have just recently become infatuated with varmint shooting, so that is where I plan to start caliber wise. Thanks again y'all.

I would recommend the 204 Ruger or 17 Remington in a TC rifle...

Its also very capable with the 223 or 222 Mag.

Get the Encore for the belt mags and the mega pistol cartridges like the 454 and bigger...they have a 500 Smith and Wesson... :D

.204 Ruger has really caught my attention since its introduction. I was skeptical at first because what was it really improving? I was afraid it might fade out since the .22-250 is similar balistically. Now, I think it has really caught on and don't feel it is going anywhere, so its time to buck up and get one. Even if it did fade out, I could just swap barrels the way I see it. :D

No, because I'd only be happy if I HAD ONE. As it stands, I don't yet, and am therefore :( P95... *drool*
