I want to buy a CZ Rami but I'm still doing some research on them. Does anyone have one? If so can you tell me how you like it, or if you don't like it tell me why? Thanks!!

I have one. Here's the good. It's totally reliable. I've never had a failure of any kind.
The machining is first rate. I have another CZ and I liked it so much I bought the Rami as a CCW gun.
Also all CZ magazines are interchangeable. I shoot the Rami with the 20 round mags from the SP-01 sometimes. (They stick out a bunch, but work fine)

Here's the bad. It's too wide. For a gun that size it should be 1/2" thinner.
The slide release is too short. I hear the one from the SP-01 will fit but I haven't tried it yet. Your thumb is no where near the slide release.
So, I have it and a beautiful HBE holster that sit in the safe.

BTW, mine is the "2075BD" decocker. I love the CZ decockers over a safety.

i was also very interested in acquiring a RAMI BD with the decocker, and almost special ordered one without ever seeing it. i'm sort of glad i did not. i have no doubt at all about what a fine gun it would be, i absolutely love my P-01, but i think the RAMI just isn't that much smaller in the right ways to justify getting it.

what really pushed me away was when i found a RAMI (non-decocker, but same size anyway) in a local shop and although it's smaller in length and height, the thickness put me off for a concealed carry gun. having the thick double-stack really takes something away from its utility, at least in my eyes. i think if they sold essentially the same gun in a single-stack and obviously thinner frame it'd be a fantastic gun. it's nice to have it smaller in length and height, but the thickness is really more important when trying to conceal it.

at least, that's my take after holding one ... and i REALLY wanted to like it, too. maybe one day they'll come out with a single stack rami with a decocker, at which point i'll have to get in line :)

I've got a 2075 in 9mm that does not have a decocker. Operates like a 1911 as far as the safety is concerned but will fire from the uncocked position with a longish trigger pull.

The number one thing about the Rami is how thick it is. It's very chunky. I have carried it some IWB and it's width wasn't a problem but that's something that will vary from person to person. There are certainly thinner compacts out there.

Mine has an excellent trigger and for some reason I shoot it very accurately in spite of the short barrel. I carry full size handguns in 40 caliber but if I was going to carry a compact the Rami would edge out my Kahr CW9.

had one for a while now, never a problem. 15 rnds isnt bad for little gun. only prob is its a little heavy but that also helps it shoot better soo...ended up getting a cz75 also for pistol competitions. carry the rami everyday.

I'm a CZ fanboy and own and carried and shoot alot the following CZ75b, 75bd and CZP01. (.22 Kadet Kit) When I wanted to go smaller I considered the Rami. Handled one and though I love CZs ergonomics, the thickness was a major turnoff. Just too chunky for a gun that small. Not much of an advantage concealment wise over my P01. For everyday, all day carry. I purchased a Kahr CW9, very concealable and it shoots better than I can hold. Haven't had a issue, 700 rounds of mixed ammo so far. While it can't match the firepower of the CZs it suits my CCW needs.

best regards,

Luis Leon

Owned a RAMI P2075

for a short while, and found it to be far too selective as to which ammunition it would feed reliably. I tried Winchester Ranger, Corbon, Hornaday, Rem Golden Saber and the gun would not consistently feed any of them. I experienced 7 to 10 FTF per mag. I tried changing mags, polishing the feed ramp and nothing worked. The only ammo I could get the gun to feed w/o a problem was Speer Gold Dot. I traded the gun for a Springfield XDm 3.8 after about one month. The XDm has performed flawlessly.

rami

Purchased a 9mm Rami online from a gentleman and very reliable and accurate. It is a bit thick and heavy but as stated prior, weight sure tones down what recoil it has. With a good holster it works well in rotation for carry with my P01 CZ or EMP 9MM

Had the 2075 P (polymer) one in 9mm Luger. 10 and 14 pc mags. Reliable, accurate, easy to carry concealed. My wife found it hard to rack the slide. Otherwise no complains whatever. A friend needed it, otherwise it would still be in my stable.
