Any info on a Hungarian derringer?

Hi all; I've searched all of my books, and ran Google into the ground looking for any additional information on this oddball "squeeze pistol"/derringer, but haven't found much. All I know is that it's 96mm long with a 81mm barrel, that it was built by "Teknika" in Hungary, and it was designed by a fellow named "Брайнер" (which can be variously translated as "Briner", "Bryner", "Brajner", "Brayner", etc., etc.) If anyone has anything to add on this thing, I'd be glad to hear it, especially on the inner workings.

I kept on digging, and found parts of a patent drawing for this thing, but if anyone runs across anything else, I'd be interested in hearing about it. It was apparently built as a 5-shot repeater in 9mm Makarov and 9mm Para.

You say it fired either the 9x18mm or 9x19mm calibers? Boy, that sounds like a handful - I don't think I'd want to touch one off out of a package that size!

By the way, do you own the gun pictured?

Probably a pocket gun for spies or spooks of some sort. 9x18 mak? Ouch! My PA-63 kicks hard enough, I can't imagine what the thing would feel like. Cool collectible though.

No, I don't own one, but my interest was piqued after seeing the first picture; probably the main reason that these are basically unknown is because they wouldn't have been importable into the US . Another couple of oddballs I've run across are the TKB-506 and TKB-506A, two "cigarette case guns " made for the KGB/MVD, that fired a 7.62x35 SP-2 silenced cartridge with an internal captive piston. These were designed by Igor Stechkin, the designer of the APS machine pistol.
