It would be almost impossible for a lefty to shoot an M1C or D. The M84 telescope is offset to the left side of the receiver so that you can still load the enblock clips. IIRC (I used the M1D in sniper school, way back in 1988) it's at least an inch an a half offset. I don't see any way to shoot from the left shoulder and see through the telescope.
