I shot this group with my now next years deer rifle. A 336 in dirty thirty w/ a Weaver 1.5-3 scope up top. This group measures 1 inch center to center. I was shooting from the bench using Winchester 150gr Powerpoints (factory ammo) and shooting with a strong crosswind. This was the first time I shot this rifle and I was zeroing the scope on this box of ammo.
I am so impressed with the trigger and accuracy of this rifle, I am now looking at a 336Y Spikehorn to use as a truck gun. I will probably put a Lymans aperture rear sight on it and use the stock front sight.
I like reloading but it sure is nice to know a gun like this can shoot like this on ten dollar a box ammo!
