I like it, from what I can see...havn't seen one in person yet. I wish it had a longer barrel and a fixed barrel...something like a ruger mark II or a colt woodsman. The WMR is a very potent round with enough barrel. It beats 25acp, 32, and maybe even 380.

I agree it is a very potent round. I think my wife would feel more comfortable carrying this pistol than the 38 revolver snub nose.

Second hand reports on other forums have a lot of these going back to KelTec for work.

Typical bugs reported (but never with any pics) are feeding and extraction issues - typical stuff for new products.

It may well be that they just need a long break in period. It may be that they need a fluff-n-buff. It may also be that these problems are widely exaggerated by users who cross-post.

In any case, I say wait a year for the supply to ramp up and the kinks to get ironed out, THEN buy one.

Now that you mentioned it I saw that it did get stuck for a split second. As much as I want one now as mr.trooper stated I am always skeptical about purchasing some new in the market. My kind of luck, I want the bugs taken out by the time I purchase one. I have a browning buckmark pistol that is flawless mechanically, would be nice if Browning offered it in 22 magnum.

I have a couple of Automag II pistols one with 7" barrel and one with a 4.5" barrel they are stainless and lots of fun.:D Only thing with the PMR 30 that has mine beat is the capacity, mine are 10 rounds. Oh yea they are part plastic if I read the specs correctly. The fireball is really bright in the dusk. My friends call them my flame throwers.:neener:

My next gun purchase, I like the 31 22 mags. Thats got trash around/woods gun wrote all over it.

I was at the range yesterday and a guy came in with a big square box. I was just half way watching to see what it was. He opened it up and brought out a gun with a light and laser attached so I that just another tacticool gun. When he shot it is spit fire and made a hell of a noise and I noticed this long skinny shells flying out.

Went over and talked to him and he said it was a great little gun,not so little, but was pickey about ammo types. I didn't ask to shoot it and he didn't offer.:(

I will say it shot great with the light and laser. I might have to look more into this as I like the 22 mag. Just from watching him shoot it looks like a keeper.

Kel-tec website states rather candidly that late last year that they had to fine tune the gun in response to owner complaints and right after they shut the entire plant down for two week holiday as is their tradition. The fine tuning and holiday put them way behind.
Last week I went to my local gun store and asked to see one when they came in. The owner showed me his stack of orders which was about 20 deep. I was discouraged until he told me he had one on the shelf waiting to be picked up. I was able to handle the weapon and I was impressed. It is not a small gun and the grip is a bit wide but it handles well and the trigger feel is good. The quoted price from my dealer was $299.95.
I'm on the list with plenty enough time to save my mad money.
