Any pet loads for 300gr hard cast .45Colt

I haven't taken a deer with my handgun for a few years.
I have a new mold for 300gr lwnfp. Also have gas checks for same.
Does anyone have a favorite recipe for a 7.5 inch ruger blackhawk?
I usually load Unique but will try something new if you can convince me!

Are you looking for standard pressure loads or Ruger only higher pressure loads?

I dont think dinosaur killers are necessary.
Im looking for accuracy, and potency.
I am hoping to learn from others experiences.
Im basically wanting a potent deer dropper, and potential large animal stopper that will group inside a paper plate at 75yds.
Accuracy trumps fireball size.

Sorry, I can't find my notes on the 300gr load I made once for a 45 Colt levergun.

I have 4 loads I like with a 250gr LSWC bullet. I know that won't help you.

I've only ever used Lee's Ruger Only H110 data, and settled at 50% under that self same bullet of WW alloy.

It makes my .357 feel like a .22 afterward, which was the point for me.

Trying this data in any other revolver will result in bad things happening​

If you have some H4227, you could start at 19gr and work up to 22 gr. This should get you over 1K FPS with less pressure than using H110/W296.

The only 300gr that I have loaded was Hornady XTP's over a stiff load of IMR-4227. Shot well in my Super Blackhawk and would put a deer on the ground.
