Just curious - the recent threads on pistol caliber carbines made me wonder how far down in power they go. After all, .22 LR is weaker than any other pistol round, and yet many, many rifles are chambered for it.

There's a piece called the AP70 (I think). It's a semi-auto that looks like a slightly malformed AR15.
It was probably made in the Philipines by an outfit called Squires Bingham.
The same gun was made in .22 and in .22 Magnum.
Not a carbine, but a subgun, the Czech Skorpian, was made in .32ACP.
It's a short piece with a folding wire stock.
I haven't got to shoot one yet, but really would like to.
Other than those, I don't know any.

Back in the Bonnie and Clyde Era I believe Savage produced an autoloader in 32 ACP. I think they had a version that handled 25 cal auto also.
For some reason I recall (probably incorrectly) that one of those rifles figured in their last shoot-out, or more correctly got-shot-at.

The only .32ACP rifle I ever saw was a Dreyse ca 1920s.
Jaeger makes a AP74 in .22lr and a version of the same thing in .32 ACP (maybe it's called a AP70 as someone said above, not sure), I had one of the .22lr models, never actually saw a .32 ACP model. Mitchell imported and sold them for awhile, not sure who else. It is a M16 lookalike, however it's a dead ringer for the real thing, nothing "malformed" about it or at least mine certainly wasn't (like the numerous crappy .22lr M16 knockoffs from the phillipines or whatever).... Seems like they did offer some with a crappy sidefolder stock that wasn't quite right though.

The ole Warsaw Pact Scorpian machine gun was made in .32acp. I never saw one in the flesh, but remember them featured in some Chuck Norris films. Also it was suppose to be the favorite of "Calos The Jackel" a famed terrorist of the eighties.

There used to be, and I believe still are, subcalibre inserts so you could fire different pistol cartfidges in centerfires with appropriate bore size. If I remember correctly, you could shoot .32's in any .308 manual action. I've seen some for sale recently in Shotgun News.
I shoot quite a bit of .32 ACP out of rifles with a cartridge adapter. It allows you to fire .32 ACP cartridges in a .30 rifle: I have these adapters in .30-06, .303 British, 7.62x54R, and 7.5 Swiss.
They are very quiet, have absolutely no recoil, and exhibit decent accuracy (plinking accuracy), however .32 ACP ammo costs more than most milsurp ammo. The adapter makes some sense in the 7.5 Swiss, but the rest of it is a gimmick.

The AP74 was made by Armi Jaeger in Italy. It was, as MAKOwner points out, a near dead ringer for the M16, unlike the Armscorp guns. It was last imported by EMF. The MSRP for the .32 ACP version was $255, at a time when a Grade I Browning .22 auto could be had for an MSRP of $295, and a Ruger 10/22 sported an MSRP of $176. This should neatly illustrate why it is no longer imported. Magazines for the .32 ACP version hold 15 rounds (IIRC) and are nearly impossible to come by without buying a spare gun as well...

I have a Steven favorite rechambered from .32 rim fire to .32 S&W Long. It will fire .32acp too! It is quiet! I also, like 444 have chamber adapters in .303 British for my Martini BSA , and 30-06 and .308 for quiet times...

IIRC, the Skorpion machine "pistol" (it had a stock) had a few models in .32...
