I have exhausted my Google Fu and can not for the life of bread mold find anyone currently selling or making a .32 ACP or .32 H&R & down chamber adaptor for the .30-30 rifle.

Any clues as to where one might be found?

No I can not find a currently active site for MCACE, no Sportsman guide has none in stock, no Shortlane only has shotgun stuff on their site.

The 30-30 barrel probably wouldn’t like the .312 bullet unless it was cast lead.

Try the Hammond Game Getter:

The purpose of the Hammond Game Getter is to convert your big-game rifle into a low-power rifle ideal for targets, birds, and small game at close range with minimum noise. Included in the kit are a precision made cartridge adapter with a stainless steel chamber, a bullet forming tool (swage), a few lead balls and a carrying case. Not provided are 22 caliber blanks

These actually work prety good. Blanks are not the right term. these are 22 Ram Set Cartridges. the yellow and green give the best results.

I tried a couple of 224 bullets in a 30 caliber sabot and they shot pretty well with no keyholing. Mine is for my winchester 94

If you get one be sure to very slowly eject the fired case or the firing pin may goflying off to never never land (Yeah mine did too a week to find it)

I'd like to hear about how the gun adapters work in one of the Henry single-shot shotguns. Tempting to buy a 20 gauge and a .44 special adapter just to try them out.

I made one for a 24 I have out of a drop of 9mm barrel to drop in the 20 ga barrel, chambered it in 357 magnum, it’s more accurate than I thought it would be but I won’t be shooting any matches with it.

I made one for a 24 ...
Now there's a thought! I no longer own a Savage 24. I had a 24E-DL .22WMR over a 20 gauge for a lot of years that was a great squirrel getter. I wonder how a .22WMR adapter in the top barrel of a Browning Citori 20 gauge would work? Seems like a great way to build a combo gun on the cheap ...

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like Short Lane makes a rifled .22WMR for a 20 gauge.

Thanks for that link. I have been looking for it off and on for about one year.

MCA is operating but you need to call and leave a message. It does take a bit of time but the work is quality and I am very happy. I got the 22 Hornet adapter for my 223 Contender barrel. since the TC has a 1-12 twist all my Hornet loads that I use for my Winchester 43 works just as well in this barrel.

I thing pressure goes up but the rifle can handle it. The .30 Carbine is a true .308".
