Any SOLID way to mount a scope on an M-44?

Just wondering if there is a way to solidly mount a scope to an M-44? I know there are Mosin Nagant mounts that replace the rear sight, but the M-44 has a smaller rear sight.

I did see that Aim has one that mounts to the rear sight, . . . but with the recoil of the M-44, is that going to hold up?

You could always get hold of a PU scope and mount and have it installed on your M44. I have seen them sold separately by I want to say Sarco.
