I realize that technically this question belongs in the competition section but I feel that I would probably get more responses posting it here. I am interested in a high-grade semi-auto target pistol in .32 long (wadcutter). It seems that all of the brands/models that I've known about over the years are either discontinued, the company's gone or it has been absorbed into another company. When I searched my target criteria I really didn't get much helpful. Any suggestions? I'm looking for something that is competition grade, highly accurate and around $1100.00 or so.

Thanks! That's just what I'm looking for. I love the Walther.

I wonder if the MP-95 would be as accurate? When it comes to high-grade target guns is the old adage true, you get what you pay for? If the Walther is a bit more accurate, I'm curious just what fraction of an inch that extra $1000.00 buys?

That I couldn't tell you....I have only seen those "free" pistols a few times, but the folks who shot them were VERY good - more than I could ever hope to do off sand bags with both hands!.......

I have loaded 32 SWL W/C and shot them out of a small H&R pistol - lots of fun, NO recoil and cheap to load - IIRC, it was a 90 grain bullet from Hornady
