Anybody bought a 3rd Dragoon recently?

I just ordered one (civilian version) from Buffalo. They don't have it in stock, so I haven't "seen" it, and I'm wondering about something.

The pictures on Cimarron's page show all four Dragoon versions using the vertical (early style) loading lever catch. Uberti's website also shows the schematic for all four using that catch, and lists the same part numbers for it for all.

But...the picture of the 3rd model on the very same Uberti site shows it with the later style sliding catch.

Just curious as to what I'll wind up with.

I purchased a Cimmaron 3rd model Dragoon about 6 months ago and I can tell you that when I load 45 grain loads it will drop the lever every time.

Buffalo arms backordered a Cimmaron fluted 1860 for me and it took about 8 weeks to get. It had to come from Italy apperently.

According to BA, Cimarron has it. It's (the civilian version) a new part number for Buffalo.

They got me a Navy London in December, I had it on backorder since last June.
