I'm a brass scrounger. I get out to my local DNR operated range atleast twice a month, shoot for a while then dig through the brass buckets.

When I have the patience, I look at each headstamp, and verify that it's a caliber I'm looking for, even though I'm pretty good at identifying them at a glance.

Occasionally though, I throw whatever's shiny into my Ziploc bag and sort it out later. Thus, I have several nice cases that I do not reload. I have:

11 cases of .340 weatherby magnum
23 cases of 7mm Rem-mag
9 cases of .25-06
19 cases of .30-30
25 cases of .270 Win

They are free if anybody wants them, I'll even pay the shipping. First person to respond takes all. If there are no takers, I guess I'll just toss 'em.

I would love to have the 340 Weatherby and 7mm mag cases. I don't even have any marked 340, I have been using 300 Weatherby and necking them up. I'd be willing to pay postage. I also have 2 25/06's, a Ruger 270 and a 30/30 TC carbine barrel.

Don't toss them. If you can't find takers, you can sell any sort of brass at your local scrap yard and with the going rate as high as it is now, you'd do well to save up a five gallon bucket, including .22 casings and sell it to them. That's what I do now to cut brass costs.
