I've been carefully trying to minimize the number of different powders I keep on hand, and been re-organizing, I had waaayyy too many different powders on hand.
I have another thread that shows me incorporating all my powders down to 2, power pistol and blue dot.
I've been examining load data available online, and it seems that for both .357 magnum, and .44 magnum that power pistol hangs with blue dot, even surpassing it in velocity, pressure, and grains of powder needed, in some of the data that I have seen.
As I've never seen a pound of power pistol, and I'm looking to try some, it occurs to me that I could theoretically use power pistol for ALL the calibers I load, from 9mm up to the mighty .44 magnum. :what:
.41 mag is the only caliber I don't see a lot of power pistol load data.
Does anybody have anything good or bad to say about power pistol in .41?
Has anybody tried power pistol and had bad luck with it for one reason or another?
I've about tapped all the resources I know how, and would like this to work....
Thanks in advance...

made me look

Seems like I've tried it in everything except 41 Action Express, 475 Wildey, and 38 Special.
And 41 Mag.

Willing to pull data from me arse; betcha it works under a 210-215g LSWC, maybe 9.0g starting. Very careful chrono-mapping recommended.

Power Pistol has worked well in medium-type loads in them big revolver cases, and offers superb results in 9x19, 38 Super, 40 S&W (my Number One choice for heavier bullets), 10mm, 44 Mag, 45 ACP (the best maximum-power powder in this cartridge), and 45 Colt.
Act kinda like HS6, but with more fire
