I ordered some dust of life grips approx. 2.5 months ago, but my order still says pending.

I saw that the website incorrectly says 3-4 weeks (at most) for shipping.

Anyone get any grips shipped to them lately?

I'm curious if they are still in business or having problems fulfilling my order.:confused:

I can;t tell you for sure, but I do know that Kim Son Vu got a plug in American Handgunner a couple months ago. That may have upped his orders substantially. Or not.

The only reason I noticed the plug was because of his membership here, I recognized the name.

My order number is in the low 200 range...
Just an update for anyone else thinking of buying from these guys;

I sent an email to him last friday and this will now make the 3rd email sent and have gotten no response. I placed my order on 5-30-08 and have nothing to show for it still. His website shows shipping to be 3-4 weeks maximum. (obviously not true).

I had ordered an item for a gift with 2 months to spare to ensure I would get it in time for a birthday. I had to go out and purchase another gift because this has not arrived yet.....I payed with PayPal, so I guess I should look into getting my money back at this point. I strongly advise against ordering anything from them. It is coming up on 3 months and no goods yet, no email response, ....nothing:cuss::cuss::banghead:

You could ask anyone here :

1. I will reply email but the time will late than support time in the USA. Because my company got a lot of order and it seem full load.

But i never don't answer anyone.

2. You payed with Paypal and you will not lost the money..

3. This is my mistake ! Yes - 3 months ! Please let me fix the trouble or you could ask refund - Sorry about this.

Note: Let me know your order number and i will find the way to fix. At this time, have some person in this forums order late than you and they wait me too.

Sorry for the deny ....it seem i need to produce faster than now.

My order number is around 280 or so, placed in early August. No doubt that is a substantial number for a period of just over two months. Patience, I guess.

My order is number #218....I would like to get a refund please.
I ordered these items for a birthday present but the birthday has already passed.

Wonder if he can make a AR15 grip?

No seriously.

Be pretty nice looking on a pistol AR15.

People get too quick to raise issues at times.

When shipping is to be in 4-6weeks, and someone waits 2.5 months, how is that being to quick to raise an issue?
Great to see him post and is going to make it right.

It had been 20days since the original post. 20days to answer an e-mail or post is a little long? IMO.

I am glad that some members do point out when services are slower than advertised. or just plain lousy. I can decide if I want to do business with that company, and often, it will get a response that a regular e-mail would not.

Why do some members here and other sites want to stick up for slow service, blame the customer for jumping the gun or raising an issue with a complaint?

If we receive bad service, let others know. Help us all avoid troubles and stress.

On the other hand,, we should let other know of good service, so we can enjoy our hobbies more. and support those businesses that do a great job.

thanks for the heads up on this company.

@gun4funtime:

You are right. If you think we are bed, you can tell for another person.

It depend on the natural ,the handmade , the quality. Also , it is depend on the prices.

When i give the prices, it is very low than the US NORMAL PRICES.

When i give the best quality by each grips handmade by each person, i don't think about the time.

Our grips is not plastic and our company from Vietnam. Have some difficult when do business. Not simple like base in the USA.

But i must to say i will never forget any order / any grips / any person whom send the pattern for me.

The only big trouble is the time ! I run too many project and all of them is handmade.

Ps: If mod / Supper mod forgive me, i would like to add 1 link from another forums which have 1 project from me:

http://www.theshaveden.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5513

The project just finished a few weeks ago :D . Please let me know if it have some problem and i will remove.

kimsonvu;
I was not just referring to you and your company. I was making a comment in general.

It sounds like from a later post you are getting back on schedule. That is great for everyone concerned.

I did go to your web sight, may I say, you do wonderful work. Your grips are awesome. Prices look fair, Heck I just may order myself some grips before to long.

Again, I was not trying to point the finger at only you.

Have a nice day.

gun4funtime: No! We don't want to finger about your comment.

I just want to tell to everybody that i am true business and i never steal or take the money without ship the order.

The problem is i need the time to do step by step order.

I will try to improve the time in production soon.

If i am business man ( buy product to sell) , i will ship very quickly.

He sounds like an honest guy just trying to make a living.
I know he's been around on the forums for a year or two and from what I've read, makes some nice grips.

Yeah, success is making it tough for him to keep up. I know that we Yanks want things NOW, on time, within the promised schedule... But, try be patient. Kimson's work is sweet...
