I've used them without issue quite a few times in the last year or two, but all of a sudden I've run into a very odd glitch, and they don't appear to be able to be contacted easily.
I posted an ad three days ago, and got the confirmation e-mail. I clicked the link in the e-mail, which shows the full, completed ad, with photo. But, the ad simply never shows up on Armslist, nor does my account show any current or pending ads. But when I click the link to the ad that I got in the confirmation e-mail,the full ad appears, and I then clicked "contact seller" and sent myself a message, which apeared in my e-mail inbox, as normal.
I've tried to post this several times over the last three days, always getting the confirmation e-mail, but there's simply no ad on Armslist. I tried posting from my brother's computer last night, unsuccessfully. I even cleared all my cookies on this computer, and set up another account using my back-up e-mail address, and everything happened the same as before.
I did a Google search, and found a thread started by someone with the same problem here on TheHighRoad, and someone posted saying there was an Armslist rep on the forum, so I sent a PM to him, but haven't heard anything.
I just went to Armslist's facebook account and found a web address: [email protected] and send a message there.
This is very odd, and I can't even take a good guess at what the problem is.
Any ideas?

I haven't posted on Armslist but I have never received a reply when I try to contact a seller.

I don't understand that, either, it's highly annoying. I've been completely ignored on Craigslist a few times. It's possible you're sounding like a scammer to the seller, for instance, asking if "the item is still for sale".This is a common query from scammers. Lots of people on Armslist and Craigslist (myself included) now state that we "won't even respond to questions asking if it's still for sale, if the ad is still up, it's still for sale".
Anyway, if anyone's curious, I just heard back from Armslist, here's the reply:

Mark,

Looks like it was getting caught up in our spam filter for some reason. I activated it, and it should appear shortly for you.

Thanks for using Armslist!

Best,
Andrew

Not sure what the issue is but I've used Armslist for 2 transactions this week. Once to sell and once to buy and didn't have any issues.

I would assume that if it got flagged and removed you would get a notification but I'm not sure. That's my only thought.
